Privacy Policy

BPKMCH Guide is a patient and caregiver information application developed by Bimal Lamichhane. The app provides hospital guidance, cancer-treatment education, hospital visit tracking, checklists, expense tracking, reminders, and personal notes.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
The app may store information that the user chooses to enter, including:
- Hospital visit records
- Consultation and personal notes
- Checklist progress
- Treatment and follow-up tracking
- Expense records
- Reminder records
- Medicine and document notes
- Language, theme, and text-size settings
2. Local-Only Storage
User-entered visit records, notes, checklist data, expense records, reminders, and other personal tracking information are stored locally on the Android device.
The developer does not upload, transmit, or store this user-entered information on a developer-controlled server.
3. No Advertising or Analytics
BPKMCH Guide does not use advertising services or analytics tools to track user behavior. The app does not sell user information.
4. Hospital Credentials
The app does not ask for, collect, or store hospital usernames, passwords, or portal login credentials.
5. Laboratory Reports
BPKMCH Guide does not provide live hospital laboratory reports and does not collect credentials for accessing an external laboratory system.
Users may manually record notes about reports on their device. The app does not interpret reports or provide a medical diagnosis.
6. Phone Contact
When the user selects the hospital phone option, the app opens the
Android phone dialer using the ACTION_DIAL function.
- The app does not place calls automatically.
- The user must manually place the call from the phone dialer.
- The app does not request permission to make phone calls.
- The app does not record or store call logs.
7. Medical Information
The app provides general educational and hospital-navigation information. It does not replace a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional.
The app does not diagnose diseases, prescribe medicines, provide dosage instructions, or make individual treatment decisions.
8. Sharing of Information
The developer does not sell, rent, or share locally stored patient information.
Users are responsible for protecting their Android device, screen lock, application access, and any information they enter into the app.
9. Deleting Your Data
Where supported, users can delete visits, expenses, reminders, checklist records, and notes inside the app.
Clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app may permanently delete locally stored information.
Because the developer does not keep a server copy of locally stored information, the developer cannot recover data deleted from the device.
10. Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for patients, relatives, caregivers, and general hospital guidance. It does not intentionally collect personal information from children.
Parents or caregivers should manage any information entered about children.
11. Device Security
Users should protect their Android device with a PIN, password, pattern, or biometric lock.
Users should also keep the Android operating system updated and avoid sharing access to the device with unauthorized people.
The developer cannot guarantee protection if the device is lost, unlocked, rooted, compromised, or shared with others.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features or applicable requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when a material change is made.
