This Privacy Policy explains how Hisab Kitab, published by Bimal Tech Solution, handles information when you use the Hisab Kitab Android application.
1. Information Stored by the App
Depending on how you use Hisab Kitab, the application may store business information such as:
- Business name, address, phone number and other business profile details
- Customer and supplier information
- Product and inventory information
- Sales and purchase records
- Credit, receivable and payable records
- Payment records
- Expense records
- Business reports
- Invoice information
- Application preferences and settings
This information is primarily stored in the application's local database on your Android device.
2. Data Collection by Bimal Tech Solution
Hisab Kitab does not currently use a developer-operated cloud server to automatically collect your sales, purchases, inventory, customer, supplier, expense or accounting information.
The current version does not intentionally include:
- Advertising SDKs
- Firebase Analytics
- Third-party analytics services
- Developer-operated business-data synchronization
- Automatic upload of your business database to Bimal Tech Solution
3. Internet Connection
Core Hisab Kitab functionality is designed to work without an internet connection.
You may choose to share invoices or backup files using other apps installed on your device. Those external apps or services may require internet access and are governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Invoice Sharing and Printing
Hisab Kitab allows you to generate, preview, print and share sales invoice PDF files.
Sharing occurs only when you initiate the action. If you choose to send an invoice using email, messaging, cloud storage or another application, the selected third-party service may receive the information contained in that invoice.
5. Backup and Restore
Hisab Kitab can create local backup files using the
.hkbak format.
These backup files may contain important business information, including records stored in the Hisab Kitab database.
Backup files are created or shared only when you choose to perform those actions.
6. PIN and Biometric Security
Hisab Kitab may allow you to enable a local PIN lock and biometric unlock for additional application security.
The application does not store your PIN as readable plaintext. PIN verification information is stored using Android secure storage mechanisms.
Biometric authentication is performed through the Android operating system and supported device hardware. Hisab Kitab does not receive or store your fingerprint, face image or raw biometric data.
App lock security does not encrypt exported backup files.
7. Local Data and App Uninstallation
Hisab Kitab stores its operational data locally on your device.
Uninstalling the application, clearing application storage, factory resetting the device, losing the device, or device failure may permanently remove local data.
Users are strongly encouraged to create regular backups and keep copies in a safe location.
8. Data Sharing
Bimal Tech Solution does not automatically sell or share your locally stored Hisab Kitab business database with advertisers or data brokers.
Information may leave Hisab Kitab when you intentionally use features such as:
- Sharing an invoice
- Sharing or exporting a backup
- Printing through Android printing services
- Opening a file in another application
Once information is shared with another application, that application's own privacy policy applies.
9. Data Retention
Local business records generally remain on your device until you edit, replace or remove the application's local data, restore another backup, clear application storage, or uninstall the application.
Because Bimal Tech Solution does not currently maintain a mandatory cloud copy of your Hisab Kitab database, we generally cannot remotely recover local business records that have been deleted or lost.
10. Children's Privacy
Hisab Kitab is intended for business bookkeeping and business management. It is not designed specifically for children.
We do not knowingly design the application to collect personal information from children through a developer-operated online service.
11. Security
Reasonable local security measures are used in the application, including database integrity controls, optional PIN protection, Android secure storage and optional biometric authentication.
However, no electronic storage system is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their devices, PINs and exported backup files.
12. Third-Party Services
Hisab Kitab may interact with Android system services or other applications selected by you for activities such as:
- Printing
- File selection
- Document sharing
- Biometric authentication
These external services may process information according to their own privacy policies.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Hisab Kitab features, data handling practices or legal requirements change.
Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
